A stolen car involved in a fatal smash as it was being chased by police was involved in a collision nearby just hours earlier, BirminghamLive can reveal.
A 20-year-old woman was killed when an Audi A3 being followed by officers collided with a Volkswagen Golf in Kingsland Road, Kingstanding , just before 8.30pm on Sunday.
She was pronounced dead at the scene while four occupants of the Audi, aged 17 to 20, were arrested.
Two others, a fifth occupant of the Audi, 21, and the 22-year-old Golf driver, were in a critical condition in hospital.
Now it has emerged the A3 collided with a Mercedes van on the Kingstanding Circle roundabout at 1.15pm on Sunday.
Businessman Ams Singh, from Sutton Coldfield , was in the hire van and said the Audi hit “several” vehicles.
